Inside Story: Pima a Host Site for Exchange Students
Congress Bundestag/Cultural Vistas again has approved Pima Community College as a host site for its German student/worker exchange program sending two students from Germany. Franz Stegman and Annabel Koellejan recently arrived and are taking classes at PCC.
Leslie Taylor, German instructor and chairperson for World Languages at West Campus, found the homestay families for each of the students. The U.S. State Department-funded Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) is for high school students who want to fully immerse themselves in German culture, or for German students who want to do the same in the US.
